* We have a small staff on the land, our farm "shamba" produces maize, wheat, beans for our own MH
consumption.
* 1O-years ago the Hydro-Geological Survey revealed no water in the region and this time with greater
technology it actually shows a flowing river 265 meters in depth. This will supply ample water even at
full development and capacity.
* We have two 40-foot shipping containers set parallel, six meters apart with a metal roof over the
entire space. This provides us: secure storage, a clean concrete floor, and an open-air place to dry
the grain before storage. The roof collects rainwater which is stored in two 5000-liter tanks for
non-consumption use.
* We employ a farmer (who has married and now he and his wife have two children living there) and
four guards from two different tribes to secure the land.
* Harvest time we employ people from the community for the various stages of bringing in the harvest.
* We have experienced incredible favor through the years - our harvest has continually been much
greater in percentage to that of our neighbors in the region. This even in year's when it appeared our
newly planted seed had been washed away. Our God is Faithful!! We see it over and over again!
* Additionally, there is a small house for the farmer and family, a previous concrete water tank that we
converted into a guard office and shelter for our guards, and a small guard house/shelter at the gate.
